Chris was working for the Texas DHS in the Child Protective Services HQ and Martin was the DHS Chief of Services overseeing statewide training for the agency. We were also very involved in the Austin music industry and initiated the ACC Music Business program.

1986

We visited Chris family in the UK and also began managing Austin musicians Deborah Giles and Ron Rogers.

1987

In 1988, as Phantom Productions, Inc.,we made our first of three trips to the international music conference MIDEM in Cannes, France representing Texas music. It was also our first year participating in Austin's South By Southwest conferences.

1988

Chris left TxDHS to enable our music business. We'd been attempting to cover the work on breaks, during the noon hour and evenings. With Phantom Productions, Inc., we created Phantom Records and Phantom Video, using the Billboard Spotlight on Austin in 1989 to announce the expansion. We were back in the UK to visit family and assisted David Case (who was now Phantom UK) with a conference at Alexandria Palace and a London showcase for Phantom's UK's musician Danny White.

1989

Martin left the TxDHS in 1990 to join Chris developing Phantom Productions full time. We enjoyed a trip to visit Chris family anf her best friend Anne in the UK. While there, we also worked with David Case our Phantom Uk partner. We signed new musicians Mark Luke Daniels and Tracie Lynn.
